Currently the EE Department has three Bachelor of Engineering Degree programmes and one Higher Diploma programme on offer:
Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) Degree in Electrical Engineering (JUPAS code: 3715)
Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Transportation Systems Engineering (JUPAS code: 3351)
Part-time Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) Degree in Electrical Engineering
Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (JUPAS code: 3064)
With the exception of Part-Time BEng in Electrical Engineering, all the other programmes are offered in full time mode under the JUPAS scheme. Their intakes are mainly graduates from local and overseas secondary schools (including mainland China).
The Part-Time mode of BEng in Electrical Engineering is specially catered for Higher Diploma and Associate Degree graduates. The programme is offered in the evening.
Starting from the 2008 academic year, a new programme in Transportation Engineering will be launched. This programme focuses on mass transportation systems and their supporting technologies. The programme will be taught jointly by the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering.
