Project Workshop (CF004a)

 
Description:

 

The Project Workshop provides technical support for electrical engineering students undertaking final-year projects that involve hardware fabrication and mechanical work, such as machining shafts, making chassis, drilling holes, and making other mechanical components.

The project store also provides a stock of common electronic components for use by students. Staff can undertake consultancy work using the facilities available.

  • Drilling machine

  • Temperature chamber with humidity control

  • 3 HP digital storage oscilloscopes

  • 30 A d.c. variable power supply

  • Harmonic analyzer

  • Digital LCR meters
